Planet has been hard at work getting pipes open at Keystone resort , Winterpark resort, and Telluride all in Colorado. Also the pipe out in Stratton some stuff in Japan and Calgary. But the work and effort going into the pipe at Otsego Club Michigan is a little different. We have 12 Olympic teams trainning at this private resort and the Planet guys put in a rediculous amount of time to get this thing going and to keep it going smooth.

The verdict is in and the pipe is amazing!

Australia getting it going day one.

The local paper put out some good coverage of the radness going down at Otsego. Contrary to the papers report Corey actually did not build the pipe. Everyone else at Planet however did!

Ryan has been out in Stratton getting the pipe stacked. Looks like its coming along nicely.

The Biggest day in the history of Otsego club went down on saturday Dec 19th! Planet has been in Michigan for the last two weeks making sure the snow making is in the right area’s and stacking the snow for the pipe build out and for opening days 3 terrain parks! The main park on chair 3 featured a 3 jump line that was sessioned so much locals were heard saying “I have never seen such a huge session on Jumps ever in Michigan!” folowing the Jump line was two more box and rail options leading you right to the cahir. Top to Bottom park on Opening day! Over on chair two was the site for the Middle Earth Tour http://www.middleearthsnowseries.com/ Night slopestyle. And over off the main bowl right in front of the lodge was a double teared rail line for the rail jam on Sunday. So much amazing ridding went down saturday its cracy to think how good these Michigan kids will get riding the O-Park everday!

In adition to all the on hill radness Planet also installed the skate bowl for opening day!

All of this and that was only Opening day! Stay tuned for the announcement of the Olympic teams arrivals and the announcement od the new Otsego O-park Snowboard Team!

The Planet crew is hard at work stacking up the pipe for the arrival of the Olympic teams from around the world. On top of that getting the resort ready for opening weekend and the Slopestyle competition.

Mike is also getting the Bowl set up for opening weekend for those that need to skate in between there snow shredding

Mike Langdon of Planet Snow says “We started in December 2009 with Keystone CO, Winterpark CO, Otsego MI, and in January 2010 we knock out Mt Bachelor OR, Telluride C0, Canadian Olympic Park Canada, Happo Japan, Stratton VT, HCSC at Timberline OR, throw in the Can-O, US-O a few World Cups…then we will finish the rest of the Earth by years end… Not worried about it, because we are Rad…

Ryan and Mike stacking the Pipe!

Winter is here and the Pipe at Otsegos O-park is getting stacked! Ryan and Mike from Planet are out in Michigan getting the O-Park ready for the weekend of Dec 19th and 20th when the Otsego Club will be open to the public for the opening weekend! With Tickets only $10 bucks its worth getting out here and checking things out. Also that weekend the MESS will be hosting the first slopestyle competition of the year.

After a long flight Ryan and I had no choice but to stop and stretch our legs at Modern Skate Park in Royal Oak, MI. This place had something for everyone.
