Olympic Training

Sunday, January 24th, 2010

Planet has been hard at work getting pipes open at Keystone resort , Winterpark resort, and Telluride all in Colorado. Also the pipe out in Stratton some stuff in Japan and Calgary. But the work and effort going into the pipe at Otsego Club Michigan is a little different. We have 12 Olympic teams trainning at this private resort and the Planet guys put in a rediculous amount of time to get this thing going and to keep it going smooth.

Project Gold

Monday, November 23rd, 2009

High Fives to the Planet team…The Planet crew has been hard at work since June of this year to build a program to establish Otsego as a development ground for the US Snowboarding program. In the process of planning for this Planet reached out to its vast contact list of international riders, teams and coaches… Planet Snow Design now has been able to attract 5 teams who will spend most of the month of January and part of February at Otsego’s Hidden Valley all the way to opening ceremonies in Vancouver. Planet is very proud to announce that The US team is now wanting to develop a lasting relationship with its Project Gold at Otsego. Members at Otsego will now be able to train with the best in the world all season long for many years to come.

It’s Official! 5 National Teams are Training at Otsego This Winter

Sunday, November 22nd, 2009

The U.S., Japanese, German, New Zealand and Australian national snowboard teams have chosen Otsego’s O-Park to train for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.

These shred dogs are going to be on site honing their skills in the Midwest’s only 22’ Monster Pipe built and maintained by Planet’s crack team of snow wizards.

There’s no excuse not to be at the O-Park this winter. With a 22’ pipe, multiple terrain parks, boarder-cross course, snow-skate park and an indoor skate ramp, Otsego is where the fun is. Get out here and ride alongside the pros as they defy gravity and completely upset the balance of the natural world.
